Complexo Cetuka is a Mozambican-owned and operated guesthouse situated on Lake Niassa, just five kilometres north of the lakeside town of Metangula. Basic but popular as a weekend destination for Lichinga residents, the lodge accommodates up to 14 people in three guesthouses right on the white sand beach of Chiwanga. Complexo Cetuka also offers a restaurant serving both traditional and continental dishes.

ACCOMMODATION:
The beach bungalows include five new rooms with ensuite bathrooms, each sleeping two people.

ACTIVITIES:
In addition to lounging on the powder white beach of Chiwanga, history buffs may want to explore the old missionary station of Messumba, located only five kilometres away, which dates back to 1882, when the region’s Anglican missionaries first arrived. Metangula also offers remnants of a rich military history – from disused cannons to an old military base used during World War I.

RATES:
Please contact the guesthouse directly for rates.
