Days 1 - 3: Kruger National Park
Depart on a scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, where you will be collected by a representative of Bongani Lodge. You will spend three nights at Bongani, inclusive of all meals and 1 game drive daily.

There is a place in Africa where lion, elephant and rhinoceros walk ancient paths once trodden by the First People of our continent, the San (Bushman). Their gallery of more than 200 rock frescoes is a priceless legacy. When you walk through the narrow rock passage leading here, legend has it that you may become more fertile. This place is Bongani Mountain Lodge, a piece of Africa perched atop a granite mountain with views that will open your mind and heart.
Arriving at Bongani, the first thing you see is a bank of mammoth granite rocks. Like a gateway to another world, this narrow natural rock passage is the only access to the lodge reception. Local legend holds that walking through this rock crevice will enhance your fertility. Central guest areas overlook a timber game viewing deck and have breathtaking views of the imposing Lebombo and Malelane Mountain ranges. The lodge has a lounge, bar, well stocked curio shop and inviting swimming pool.
Bongani has 20 chalets, nine suites and one Presidential suite. The rooms are spread out across the mountain ridge and surrounded by impressive outcrops of granite. All the chalets and suites have a verandah and en suite bathroom with air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Suites are ideal for families with small children as there are sleeper couches in the lounge area.
Africa's most impressive wildlife can be enjoyed during morning and evening game drives in open Land Rovers with expert rangers. The evening drives are spotlit and offer insights into the activities of nocturnal animals including leopard, civet and genet.

Days 4 - 6: Vilanculos, Mozambique
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airport for a scheduled Pelican Air flight to Vilanculos, where you will be met by a representative of Dugong Lodge for boat transfer to the Lodge.

Your three night stay at Dugong is inclusive all meals, teas & coffees, and non-motorised water activities.

Dugong Lodge is situated on the East-African seaboard on the coast of Mozambique within the boundaries of "The Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary", the first privately managed National Park in Mozambique. The sanctuary covers 30,000 hectares of pristine marine and wildlife territory, a unique 'Beach and Bush' experience in a hidden corner of sub tropical Africa. This diverse eco-system of bush and wetland, with its powder white beaches and crystal clear water is host to a magnificent array of fish, dolphin and very importantly, the nearly extinct "Dugong". Shallow and deepwater reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as the green and leatherback turtles, sailfish, manta ray, to name a few.

Dugong Lodge, perched right on the edge of the beach is an idyllic setting with ten luxury tented rooms built on raised decks in the shade of Msasa Trees and Jecka grass canopies. All the tents have hardwood floors, en-suite bathrooms, huge feature baths and outside showers under thatched canopies, and are equipped with hair-driers, fans and mosquito nets. All the tents open onto a private patio.

The lounge and restaurant on raised Mahogany timber decks with a jetty jutting out into the protected Vilanculos Bay, affords one breathtaking views of the ever-changing colours and hues of the water dotted with the white sails of ancient dhows.

Water sport enthusiasts can look forward to an array of activities, including Salt Water fly fishing, Deep Sea fishing, Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Pedal Boats and Kayaks.

Shallow and deepwater reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as the green and leatherback turtles, sailfish, manta ray, to name a few. Big deep-sea game fishing of marlin and barracuda is truly spectacular and the large flocks of Flamingos and pelicans are a sight to behold.

Day 7: Departure
After enjoying your final morning in paradise, you will be transferred back to Vilanculos Airport. Depart Vilanculos on a scheduled Pelican Air flight to Johannesburg.
